Good catch of library classes. I will surely take care while using new Framework for our next assignment.

Jyotsna -
Well i had same problem, you cant believe i started hunting for using frameworks, started with phpmvc(project released by java struts team) in 2006, it was more like java coding, php became famous due to its simplicity, hundreds of lines lines of coding could be done in just few lines.

Then later i tried with cakePHP, although has good documentation then ended up without good examples which will lead to the big picture of framework.

Mean time i had heard of zend framework, since this is the company who were the creators of php, i trusted these will emerge like anything, you are thinking of using a framework, but just refer the library classes they are providing.

I had finished 2 projects with total of 24 hours, thats the powerful nature of zend framework fast simple very effective, thats all we need in the startup company environment.

Hi Ganesh,

Good Efforts for zend Framework Tutorial. Very excited to use it in our projects.
But I am currently sitting in between two fires, and cannot decide which
one is the best. There is a need for me to replace our current "hand
written" framework (mambo based) with a more formalized and better written one. The
main aim is to speed up our development time, and off course to have
more structure & rules in our coding standard/methodology if you will.

I cannot, for the love of me, decide between:
- Zend Framework
- Symfony
- evoCore
- Joomla framework
- Adobe

Does anybody have experience in either of these? I'd like some
pointers on what you experienced in terms of the good and bad of each.

Thanks in advance for any advice :)

Best regards,
Jyotsna

Good chunks of PHP related posts. Though I am not aware of this programming language, I was able to grab the overview ideas cleanly.
Good and keep posting.
